The Crucible- Act Three

After questioning Elizabeth about Abby and Proctor the girls once again begin with their "visions".

Abigail, to the ceiling, in a genuine conversation with the "bird," as though trying to talk it out of her attacking her: "But God made my face; you cannot want to tear my face. Envy is a deadly sin, Mary." (pg 106)

Abigail begins to fake a "vision" again and this time she makes the accusation against Mary Warren. She says that her spirit is the "bird" she is seeing and that she wants to attack her. Mary is surprised at what Abby is doing and attempts to try to stop her but the other girls go along with Abigail and just mock Mary. Proctor wants Mary to say the truth about everything but even though Abigail has turned against her she still refuses to confess the truth.
This shows how Abigail really doesn't care who she hurts as long as she gets what she desires and doesn't get in trouble.
Level Question:
Will what Abigail is doing to Mary Warren finally make her say that everything was all just pretend?
